Adoption

Here at HART, we rescue animals from local pounds to give them a second chance at a new life. We work diligently to serve the public and animals of San Luis Obispo County in a professional and efficient manner with kindness and compassion. The staff is dedicated to providing education, protection, and the humane treatment of animals in order to insure a safe and healthy community and to promote the benefits of responsible pet ownership.

Name: Butch Breed: Jack Russell Terrier Age: 12 months Sex: Male S/N: Pending Found in Modesto running on the highway. No ID tag. LOVES to sleep under the covers and be in the house with his family. Great around kids, loves to lick faces. Afraid of cats, but is trainable!
Name: Chayanne Breed: Beagle Mix Age: 7 months Sex: Female S/N: Pending Very energetic and great with kids. Needs a fenced in yard.
Name: JoJo Breed: Chihuahua/Terrier X Age: 18 months Sex: Female S/N: Yes She weighs 14 lbs and is a healthy young lady. Great with kids and dogs, and most likely cats too. HART is a non-profit, tax exempt, all volunteer humane service organization dedicated to people and their pets as well as the homeless and stray animals who need our help. No salaries are paid. We are incorporated under the auspices of the Secretary of State of California. HART is fully tax-exempt under the U.S. Treasury Department section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue code.
