In this area of the website, I have displayed the finished products after two years of hard work at Pittsburgh Technical Institute. These pieces have been worked and reworked time and again and refined a little bit more each time it was reworked. These are the polished gems of my hard work and determination.

• Piece 1 - The Art of Canning

    This piece is a computer based training module with a target audience of women in their 30s to their 50s. It discusses the benefits, history, and process of canning foods. It also includes a how-to section to make applesauce and discusses the different types of apples you might choose to use in the cooking process.

• Piece 2 - Script Library

  • 

    This piece is a website to preview and order various scripts for use on a website. It uses XHTML, CSS, Javascript, MySQL, and PHP. It allows the user to add, delete, and edit content on a website. It also allows visitors to the site to join and receive more options while browsing through its contents.

• Piece 3 - Girls on the Run

  • 

    This is a motion graphic piece done as an Industry Lead Project, or ILP, in third and fourth quarter. It was done for a non-profit organization as a recruitment video to encourage pre-teen girls to join the program. It has upbeat music and is fast-moving to keep the attention of the intended audience.

• Piece 4 - Homeless Animal Rescue Team

  • 

    This piece is an XHTML, CSS, Javascript, MySQL, and PHP website that a revamp of a non-profit website located in Cambria, California. The target audience is parents looking for a pet for their children or a good-hearted person looking to rescue a neglected or lost animal. They also help people to find lost pets and take in pets that have wandered off from their families.

• Piece 5 - Magee Women's Hospital of UPMC

  • 

    This piece is a flash kiosk that was designed to help people who come to the hospital find their way around. The kiosk is aimed at the general public aged from teenagers up. It has soft colors and soft edges to have a calm feeling so people who have fears about the hospital will feel calm and relaxed.
